Safari Itinerary

DAY 1 NANYUKI

Depart at 0800 driving north into plush Kikuyu farmlands watching the landscape alternate  from rolling green hills  to never ending plains. Brief rest halt at Nanyuki Equator Point. Arrive at the club, set in pristine grounds at the foot of the majestic  snow capped Mount Kenya was founded in 1959 by William Holden and has been honored by visits from many celebrities including John Travolta. Time at the club is graced by long lunches and lazy log fire dinners, for the more energetic there is a heated swimming pool,  tennis courts, croquet, a golf course, trout fishing, nature / bird walks, horse back riding and an early morning ride on an ox wagon through the  club grounds.

Lunch, afternoon at leisure. There is an animal orphanage within the club grounds which has cheetahs, the llama, ostriches, zebroids (mixed breed of zebra and a horse), porcupines, baby antelopes, the white tailed Colobus monkeys and a tortoise rumoured to be over 100 years old. Dinner and overnight. FB. 

 

DAY 2 NANYUKI

Day at leisure, all meals and overnight. FB.

(optional half day excursion to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, park entrance fees can be paid directly)

 

DAY 3 NAIROBI

Breakfast at 0900, depart by 0930 for Nairobi, arrive by 1230, drop off.

End of safari.

Package Includes

  1. 2 nights’ full board (lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast) accommodation.
  2. Transport in and private use of an 8 seater safari microbus.
  3. Services and allowances of an English speaking driver guide.
  4. Optional half day game drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
  5. All ground handling and representation.
  6. Comprehensive tour documents and a complete safari brief.

Not Included

  1. Items of personal nature such as calls, drinks (including bottled / mineral water), tips, laundry, etc.
  2. Any visa, re entry fees for Kenya.
  3. Conservation fee for Ol Pejeta :

KES 1,600/- per resident adult, KES 800/- per resident child

USD 70.00 per non resident adult, USD 40.00 per non resident child
