ITINERARIES
East Africa offers a wealth of safari opportunities and a tailor made safari allows the guest the chance to explore those opportunities to the full. We combine the best game viewing areas that traverse scenic landscapes and couple the plan with your preferred activities, that cater to the ages and interests of your group. From the familiar National parks and Reserves to the more obscure and undiscovered areas, from popular game lodges to exclusive game ranches, the options remain endless.
HOSTS
We are your hosts from the word go. You will be met by our experienced, knowledgable and humorous driver guide on arrival. A senior representative will offer a pre safari orientation thereafter giving you a detailed sketch of what is in store. You will be breifed through the safari program, shown what to expect, provided with background information and materials and will be able to discuss the dos and don'ts and we will answer any questions that you may have. We offer personalised service at African Safari Destinations, each detail of your safari is taken care of personally, for you only. Much of the fun of going on safari comes from the interaction of our driver guides with you. Our driver guides are dedicated to giving you the safari of a lifetime. Having interacted with East Africa’s diverse communities and also having undergone formal training in tour guiding with regular refresher courses, our driver guides have an unmatched and intimate knowledge of the parks, wildlife, people and the terrain. Our driver guides make our guests leave Africa with safari memories to cherish forever.
TRANSPORT and GAME DRIVES
Transport is in our custom built 8 seater safari micro buses (with the option of 8 seater safari Landcruisers and Patrols available) complete with two way UHF radio communication, a “pop up” roof offering the best views on game drives, large sliding windows for the avid photographer, a reinforced suspension system for the rugged African terrain and a high ground clearance. Our vehicles undergo regular maintainance checks and are in excellent condition. Your comfort is our top priority.
ACCOMMODATION
We take great pride in using good accommodation options for our guests, the best lodges, hotels and luxury tented camps, each having it’s own unique rustic design, managed by reputable hotel groups or by individuals that cater for every need for our esteemed guest. We have built strong relationships with our suppliers, the hotels and lodges and thus enjoy a favoured client status.
BY AIR
For flight packages, we book our guests on scheduled / chartered flights operated by reliable companies. The scenery by air is spectacular with stunning aerial views.
Internally scheduled flights are available between major towns and National Parks and Reserves, operated on a per seat basis in a single or twin-engine aircraft.
For the ultimate in comfort and convenience, a wide range of aircraft are available for private charter. A private aircraft offers accessibility to those airstrips not serviced by schedule flights, with total flexibility for timing and routing.
